- RUMOR: PC Watch Japan reported that Sony is looking for a multi-core CPU design for the next PlayStation console, typically it takes 24 months to finish prototype design of a new console. Another note is that the previous plans to use Intel's Larabee GPU and an enhanced version of Synergistic Processing Unit on the console have been scrapped.
